About Branca Tower

Torre Branca, also known as Branca Tower, is a steel-frame panoramic tower in Parco Sempione, Milan’s central city park. Gio Ponti designed it, and it was built in about two and a half months in 1933 for the V Triennale. It was first called Torre Littoria. Closed in 1972, it reopened in 2002 after Fratelli Branca restored it and gave it its present name. An elevator takes visitors up to a covered terrace with 360-degree views of Milan and, on clear days, the Alps and the Apennines.

From 26 May to 30 September, an evening session from 8:30 PM to midnight also runs Tuesday to Friday and on Sunday. Hours change from month to month, and the tower closes in strong wind or bad weather.
